Learning Fellowship Meetings
Learn in connection with other curious therapists!
Connect and Thrive
Being a therapist can be a solitary endeavor, but at Curious Therapist, you're never alone. Join a community of like-minded explorers who share your passion for growth, learning, and connection. Engage in insightful discussions, exchange experiences, and forge valuable relationships with fellow clinicians.
The concept is simple:
Knock out a thing or two from your list of mental health-related books/articles/podcasts/videos (loosely related materials are 100% welcome!), coupled with chatting and building community with fellow therapists.
We meet at local coffeehouses and breweries, typically monthly, for an hour and a half. We rotate between north, south and east parts of town to increase accessibility. Similarly, we meet at different times of day and days of the week to be as inclusive as possible.
Meetings are always free, though we recommend making a small purchase to support the local establishment.
Each meeting follows the same format:
First 15 minutes: brief introductions
Next 45 minutes: Read/listen to/watch something from your “list” independently
Last 30 minutes: Talk about that thing, and hear about others’ things for the next 30+ minutes, and/or talk about our wild, wonderful profession, or whatever the heck you want
Note: It’s totally fine to be late! If we’re in the quiet part of the agenda, we’ll make space for you to introduce yourself later.
